I was always drinking matcha the traditional way, until a friend of mine introduced me to a new way to drink it.
She told me how to make it perfectly every time and I want to share with you! The recipe is very simple, all you need is matcha, ice, a milk of your choice like coconut milk, or almond milk. Then an optional sweetener like agave, honey or simple syrup.
So, all you do is just whisk the matcha with a little bit of water or milk to make a paste like constancy, then pour your milk into a glass with ice. Then just pour the matcha mixture over the top, give it a stir and you have yourself a matcha latte. Add a little bit of sweetener if you'd like, sip, and enjoy!
Now I urge everyone to be careful where they get their matcha from considering you don't always know what's in it.
